Upcoming Yarn Shows!
I’m so excited for the autumnal yarn shows to begin – I’m feeling particularly autumnal this year and really ready for the season!
I have a few yarn shows coming up before the end of the year, the first two of which are in the same weekend! It seemed like a great idea at the time. I’ll let you know if I still think so on Monday morning…
The first show on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September is a new one for me – Unravel… autumn! I’ve attended Unravel before as a visitor, but this will be my first trip as an exhibitor. Farnham Maltings is a great venue, and every corridor seems to lead to another room of fabulous yarny goodness. I’m really looking forward to it, and I’ll be attending the social knit night on the Friday evening as well. Anyone attending Unravel can find me in the Tannery, selling my pattern designs alongside some wonderful exhibitors!
Within hours of returning from Farnham, I’ll be jumping back on the road to head down to Cornwall for the Kernow Yarn and Fibre Festival on the Sunday 13th! YAFF is one I’ve done several times now but it’s such a wonderful show and I love exhibiting at this one. It’s a lovely atmosphere and the organisers are incredible. In years past, YAFF has been my benchmark for the start of autumn, though with another show beforehand I might have to hope I get in the mood a couple of days early this year! For YAFF you’ll find me in Tregothnan Hall – I’ve been placed right between some of my absolute favourite yarn show people so I think we’re in for a great day!
I have a designer-only stand at Unravel, so at that show I am only selling my pattern designs, whereas for YAFF I will be including pattern packs, project bags, and other little crafting bits and bobs. I’ll also be selling my newest pattern design, the Libby Slipover Crochet Pattern, which is due for release this week, but she deserves her own separate post so no more on that for now…
If you’re coming to either show please do come and say hi, though the further into the weekend we get please account for the gradual decline in my ability to string a coherent sentence together.
